Remember a while back that couple that crashed the White House dinner???? And that they were later cast on "The Real Housewives of D.C."... well the wife Michaele Salahi went on "The View" yesterday, and she is now saying that Whoopi Goldberg hit her while she was there.... Here's "The View's" side of the story.... "During Michaele Salahi's appearance on 'The View' on Wednesday, Whoopi lightly touched Ms. Salahi to get her attention and said to her 'Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please. After the show, Ms. Salahi and her husband accused Whoopi of hitting Ms. Salahi. As the broadcast clearly shows, the accusation was completely unfounded and erroneous." The "altercation" was partially caught on camera, and it does not back Ms. Salahi's story.

 

President Obama went on The View yesterday for some strange reason.... and he did some pop culture trivia....He knew that Lindsay Lohan is in jail, he dodged a question about Mel Gibson, and he'd never heard of Snooki!! haha

 Barbara Walter returned to "The View" yesterday for the first time since undergoing heart valve surgery two months ago... but it was via Skype.

   Elisabeth Hasselbeck apologized for ragging on Erin Andrews on The View yesterday. If you missed it this is what she said about Erin: "For the past like three weeks she's been wearing like next to nothing. I think in light of what happened ... and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... in some way, if I'm him, I'm like, 'Man, I could have just waited 12 weeks ... I could have seen this, a little bit less, without the prison time.'"

Elisabeth Hasselbeck criticized ESPN minx ERIN ANDREWS on "The View" yesterday, for showing too much skin on "Dancing with the Stars" (bc of her "Peeping Tom" issue a few months ago). Elisabeth said "I think in light of what happened and as a legal [matter] . . . and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room . . . I mean, in some way if I'm him, I'm like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this . . . a little bit less . . . without the prison time!'" Erin's dance partner Makism Chmerkovskiy came to her defense on Twitter, saying, quote, "I'm the one designing @ErinAndrewsESPN's dresses for the show, so I'll just assume that @ehasselbeck is jealous and stupid [for] her comments."

 

 

    Jessica Simpson was on "The View" yesterday. The subject of John Mayer's"Playboy" interview came up Jessica was clear on one thing. She says, quote, "He'll never have this napalm again." She also feels that men are undressing her with their eyes now.....
