An Abdul uber-fan, who once auditioned for American Idol, committed suicide while parked in a car near Paula's home. Police were notified by Paula Goodspeed's family that she was missing and that she had an unnatural obsession with Paula Abdul. They suggested that the cops check Paula's house and that's where they made the discovery. A police source says they had been called out many times for complaints about Goodspeed's car parked at Abdul's house and reports of stalking. Initial reports say Goodspeed overdosed in her car which had license plates that read "ABL LVR" and had photos of Abdul hanging from the rear-view mirror. Goodspeed's Idol audition took place in Season 5 and they even featured her Abdul obsession in a 3 minute vignette just before Simon ripped her bad singing apart.
