Rick Dees is to radio what Michael Jackson is to Pop Music. Plus, the two entertainers had parallel careers that grew together. Rick Dees hosted the Weekly Top 40 at a time when Michael Jackson dominated the charts. In the eighties Michael Jackson was the 'King of Pop' and Rick Dees was 'The King of Radio.'
