Off Air Life: There was the incident with the potato gun and homemade hail before I hung up my hat on my "testing a portable hail cover for cars" phase. I have now moved on to experimenting with the night vision mode on my video camera on local amphibious life. I paint too...none too carefully. I don't know why it always seems like cobalt blue ends up smeared somewhere on my face.

Career: I did the morning announcements at my high school. My senior English teacher thought I'd be a good fit for the public youth forum on one of the public radio stations in town. I took the aircheck I made there with me to college, and with it landed an internship at my first commercial station. (Imagine taking 18 hours and waking up at 4:30 in the morning to walk to the radio station to produce the morning show. And I am SO not a morning person.) Yes, I love it that much...even now.

One Thing About Me Most Don't Know: I rub packing peanuts on the floor to make them charged with static electricity, and stick them to my cat. I then laugh hysterically until they fall off, at which point the cycle begins again.
