| The Challenge | Increase sales to 130 vehicles per month (from 80's) by targeting males aged 18 - 31 who live in the Jacksonville beaches area. Brand AutoLine as the cool place to shop in a laid-back, beach environment. |
| The Resource | We created a marketing strategy to highlight that AutoLine is known for laid-back sales process and made that the primary message in their ads - and have AutoLine sponsor the BIG APE BEACH PATROL. |
| The Idea | Creative message in their ads on WAPE were used to establish AutoLine as different from other car dealers using music from local artists from the beaches area wiht a very "laid-back" vibe. Message included the fact that there are no salespeople in suits and ties - guys like you and me will help you find a car because, "buying a car should not suck - buying a car from AutoLine does not suck!" AutoLine also sponsored the BIG APE BEACH PATROL for 2009, which made frequent appearances on the beaches during "the season", and the vehicle itself was given away on Labor Day. |
| The Results | AutoLine sold 128 vehicles in August 2009, the final month of the program. |
