1. President Biden won’t run for re-election!
Well it looks like the rumors are true! President Biden announced yesterday that he’s not seeking re-election. Biden has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him. This election season gets more like a reality show everyday!
2. Hello Kitty is NOT a Cat?!
What the Hello?! I feel like my life is a lie. For the past 50 years the world has grown to love the cutest kitty cat that’s always so pretty & chic with her fashion, Hello Kitty! I was today years old when I found out that Hello Kitty is not a cat but a little girl with whiskers!
Sanrio exec Jill Cook says, quote, “She’s actually a little girl, born and raised in the suburbs of London. She has a twin sister Mimmy, who is also her best friend.”
Not only that, but Hello Kitty has a pet cat of her own: Charmmy Kitty. This is so weird. I’m sure with the success of Barbie they’re probably interested in a movie soon, but I’m not sure if I want to see that now. I’m hurt. Hello Kitty is not a cat. That’s the news.
3. Travis and Jason Kelce Have a New Cereal!
Travis and Jason Kelce have teamed up with General Mills for their own cereal. It’s called Kelce Mix, and it’s technically not anything “new” . . . it’s just a blend of their favorite cereals in one box:
Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs.
It’ll be in stores in September. They lost me at Reese’s Puffs but I’ll try it.
