But wait there’s more... The greatest comeback of all time was delivered by the one and only Celine Dion. This was her first performance since being diagnosed with Stiff Persons Syndrome. If you’ve seen her documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, you’ve heard the horror notes she belted as she was going through treatments. By the grace of God she was able to perform at the Opening Ceremony with the angelic voice she’s blessed us with for years!
2. Deadpool & Wolverine Breaking Records!
“Deadpool & Wolverine” broke records this weekend with $205 million at the domestic box office, making it the eighth biggest opening of all time. It made $438.3 million globally.
It now holds the record for the biggest opening EVER for an R-rated movie. It dethroned the first “Deadpool”, which held the record with around $133 million.
3. There’s a new TikTok feature to find your favorite songs!
TikTok users might be carrying a tune with the company’s latest feature. “Tech Crunch” reports that the company’s “Sound Search” will allow people to find songs by singing or humming.
At the moment it’s only available to users in certain regions. The new tool comes as other song detection services like Shazam and YouTube Music are currently available. YouTube’s program is also similar to TikTok’s. It’s unclear when the new service will be widely released. Read more.
