He nearly killed his fiancée, the day before their wedding!

Imagine, the day before your wedding, and you nearly lose your fiancé, and it’s your fault! But that’s exactly what happened to Alex Kessinger’s new wife, Lydia Kessinger, as they attempted to move a mattress via Alex’s pickup truck.

“They were moving into a new place and wanted to get their mattress there before their wedding night.  So Alex tossed the mattress in the back of his truck . . . and told Lydia to just LIE on it to weigh it down.

He was doing 50 when the mattress flew out of the truck with Lydia still on it, and she ended up with SERIOUS road rash.”

She was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries, which included two broken front teeth, the serious road rash, and other minor injuries.

What people forget was that AFTER she got up from sliding across the pavement, she then had to DODGE cars from the incoming traffic, which she did successfully.

Despite her injuries and frayed appearance, they still went on with the wedding.

It took place back in April, but only recently shared it because last Thursday was “national secure your load day” a lesson they have both definitely learned for the future.
