Disney World in Orlando had to temporarily shut down its Haunted Mansion ride over the weekend after a guest scattered their loved one’s ASHES on the ride!
It’s not clear how long the ride was shut down but everyone had to evacuate the ride as employees handled the situation.
An employee posted about the shut down on Reddit as the situation was happening.
They said it’s definitely not a smart thing to do because ultimately, the person’s ashes will just end up in the trash... as “your loved one’s ashes are going to be vacuumed up into a bucket with mouse droppings [and] thrown in the garbage.”
The whole event was apparently caught on video so the person will likely be banned from all Disney parks but no official word yet.
