Jacksonville, FL — A local firefighter has minor injuries after an early morning structure fire on Stockton Street in the Mixon Town area of Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department first reported the fire just after 2 am Monday, and called the fire under control around 3:30 am.
JFRD says the fire started in the W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. building on Stockton St. Fire crews say it started between the ceiling and roof, but they aren’t sure what sparked the fire.
JFRD says no one was in the building at the time.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
