JSO officer arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor

Jacksonville FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a patrol officer David Gedert Tuesday afternoon for sexual misconduct with a victim less than 13-years-old.

Gedert has been an officer with JSO for 21-months and he has been fired, according to JSO.

Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office Michigan conducted a criminal investigation where he was charged with 2 counts of criminal sexual misconduct with a victim less than 13 years of age from 6 years ago, undersheriff Pat Ivey said.
