Ohio man charged with murder, accused of wrapping dead grandfather in rug

IRONTON, Ohio — An alert sanitation department worker contacted Ironton police on Wednesday after they noticed “suspicious bags” in the garbage.

Police arrived at the scene and discovered that the suspicious bags contained bloody clothing. Officers then determined that the garbage bags came from a nearby home, according to WSAZ.

When police went to the home they believed was the source of the suspicious bags, a man fled the area, the station reported.

According to WCHS, Kace Pleasant, 22, was arrested in nearby Lucasville by the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
